What a perfectly pleasant end to the day. A fun $15 take-out date night with Chinese food, a little red velvet cupcake, and watching "Dale and Tucker vs. Evil" with my BoBo in the basement theater.
The rest of the day was pretty great, too. I spent most of it with the girls, Miss R's friend from school, and two little boys that were staying with the family. With seven kids around there was never a dull, or quiet, moment. Despite an outing for flu shots (yuck.) we were able to spend plenty of time playing outside in the surprisingly nice weather.
The photo is from the outing Miss H and I had yesterday. According to my step counter she rode that bike 1.5 miles! We had even more adventures, meeting my mom for lunch and spending time at our favorite place - the library. And at the end of it all, three minutes after I had plopped her in the car to drive home she fell asleep mid-sentence. I am just so lucky to have the chance to work with this family. I really feel loved by these girls and I break the first rule of nannying by saying that I really love them, too. I'm especially happy that I get to have one-on-one time with Miss H now, and that I get to give her solo attention while watching her blossom and grow.
